Abstract

This study aims to identify factors inhibiting production and determine the priority of corrective actions to increase the achievement of concrete production targets at PT Jaya Etika Beton. The main problems faced are the suboptimal realization of production targets due to delays in raw material supplies, decreased performance of production equipment, and suboptimal labor performance. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach combined with quantitative analysis through the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Data were collected through observation and interviews with seven informants directly involved in the production process, while pairwise comparison assessments were conducted by five expert informants (n = 5) who have competence in production system management and decision making. The variables analyzed include raw materials, production equipment, and labor. The results show that raw materials and production equipment are the dominant factors influencing the failure to achieve production targets with a weight of 0.448 (44.8%) each, while labor is 0.103 (10.3%). The Consistency Ratio (CR) value of 0.002 indicates that the analysis results are consistent. The highest improvement priorities are in A1 (raw materials) at 0.493 through improving material quality control, supply scheduling, and selecting reliable suppliers, followed by A2 (production equipment) at 0.410 through routine maintenance, increasing machine readiness, and operational improvements, and A3 (labor) at 0.096 through training, improving skills, and strengthening supervision. This study provides a practical contribution in determining improvement strategies and emphasizes the importance of determining priorities based on systematic analysis to increase the effectiveness of achieving production targets optimally.
