ANALISIS KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL ANTARA ATASAN DAN BAWAHAN DI DALAM PT DUTA BANGSA MANDIRI

Interpersonal communication plays an important role in the organizational environment as it serves as the primary means of conveying information, building working relationships, and supporting the achievement of company goals. In the context of the relationship between superiors and subordinates, effective communication can create good work coordination and minimize misunderstandings. PT Duta Bangsa Mandiri, as a company engaged in Ready Mix Concrete, Stone Crusher, Concrete Block, and Precast Concrete Fence, requires intense communication in its operational activities. This study aims to analyze interpersonal communication between superiors and subordinates at PT Duta Bangsa Mandiri. The study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type and a non-positivistic (interpretive) paradigm. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews with a dispatcher, field technician, purchasing administration staff, and HRD staff. Data analysis used an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that interpersonal communication between superiors and subordinates at PT Duta Bangsa Mandiri runs quite well based on five indicators of interpersonal communication according to DeVito (2017), namely openness, empathy, supportiveness, positiveness, and equality. Nevertheless, there are still communication barriers in the form of differences in perception, limited communication time, and psychological barriers that affect the effectiveness of message delivery
