Abstract

Innovative learning media play an important role in improving the quality of the learning process in elementary schools. In mathematics learning, especially on fraction material, many students still experience difficulties in understanding the concepts being taught, which affects their learning interest and participation during the learning process. In addition, the use of less varied learning media makes the learning process less engaging for students. Therefore, interactive and enjoyable learning media are needed to help students understand the material more easily. This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on Wordwall on fraction material for fourth grade elementary school students. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research was conducted at SD Mojolangu 1 Malang with fourth grade students as the research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques to determine the feasibility of the media and students' responses to the use of the learning media. The results of the study indicate that the Wordwall based interactive learning media developed is feasible to be used in mathematics learning on fraction material. The use of this media can increase students' learning interest and their involvement in the learning process. In addition, Wordwall media helps students understand fraction concepts more easily because it is presented in the form of interactive and engaging games. Therefore, Wordwall based learning media can be used as an effective alternative to support the mathematics learning process in elementary schools
