Abstract
This study aims to develop a carbon footprint tracking application design solution using the UX Journey method. The background of this research is the increasing carbon footprint as a trigger of global warming. Currently, there is no technical solution that combines economic and technical approaches to address the rise in carbon emissions. This study uses a web-based software development approach focused on meeting user needs through the UX Journey method. The results obtained are a web-based application system called Carleet that meets user requirements. The conclusion of this study is that the UX Journey method successfully produced an application design that suits user needs and provides effective features for tracking carbon emissions. This research also recommends further development of an AI-based carbon emission tracking system.
