Abstract
This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by Karya Mandiri Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in the management of Mineral Water (AIDES) in Junrejo village. This research is focused on the process of planning and implementing AIDES mineral water management strategies and examining the supporting and inhibiting factors faced in its management. The presence of BUMDes is expected to be able to become a driver of the village economy through the independent management of village potential.
This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants include the Head of Junrejo Village, the Director/Chairman of BUMDes Karya Mandiri, the Treasurer of BUMDes Karya Mandiri, and the people of Junrejo Village. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to obtain a comprehensive picture of AIDES' mineral water management strategy.
The results of the study show that the water management strategy (AIDES) includes planning and implementation. At the planning stage, BUMDes conducts deliberations with the village government and BPD in determining business units according to the village's potential, vision and mission, capital participation, initial marketing strategy through purchase obligations by village officials as well as word-of-mouth promotion, and pricing. In the implementation stage, BUMDes collaborates with Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) and local business actors, arranges production schedules, manages operational budgets, and conducts periodic evaluations. Supporting factors include village government support and community participation, while the inhibiting factors are the unresolved product distribution permits and limited human resources due to financial limitations.
