Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and work motivation on employee performance at the Department of Education of West Sumbawa Regency, both partially and simultaneously, with a population of 120 employees and a sample of 55 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. Using a quantitative survey method and analyzed through multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination, the results show that transformational leadership and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously, with work motivation being the more dominant factor; therefore, improving employee performance can be achieved through effective transformational leadership and enhanced work motivation.
