Abstract

This research is motivated by the conventional or manual data management of activities and finances at the Ibnu Khaldun Mosque in Batu City. This manual process leads to risks of data loss, difficulties in reporting, and a lack of transparency and accountability in mosque management. The purpose of this study is to design and test a web-based mosque management information system prototype that is structured to assist both the management (takmir) and the congregation (jamaah). The method used in this research is the Design Thinking approach, which encompasses five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. The design evaluation was conducted using Usability Testing through the Maze platform and the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. The results indicate that the developed prototype effectively meets specific user needs. Based on Usability Testing, the prototype achieved a High category score (98 for the congregation and 95 for the management). Meanwhile, the SUS scores reached the Excellent category, with 86.5 for the congregation and 83.5 for the management. The conclusion of this study is that the designed mosque management information system prototype possesses high usability standards and is highly feasible for further development to enhance the mosque's operational effectiveness.
