Abstract
Pancasila Education is an education that studies the ideology of the Indonesian nation, aiming to shape students into good citizens who understand their rights and obligations, love their homeland, and have a spirit of nationalism. However, in reality, Pancasila Education learning in elementary schools is often considered boring by students because it is delivered through conventional, less engaging methods. This condition results in low student participation and low student understanding of the material being taught. Based on observations and interviews at Tegalgondo Elementary School, it was discovered that students were less active and focused during the lesson, particularly on the topic of students' rights and responsibilities at school. This was due to teachers relying solely on textbooks and not using supporting media. This study aimed to develop interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline with a Joyful Learning approach to improve students' understanding of their rights and responsibilities at school.
This study used a research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which has five stages: analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis employed qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques.
Validation results showed that the developed media was highly valid, with a media validation percentage of 91% and a subject matter expert percentage of 95%. The questionnaire results showed that student responses were 88% and teacher responses were 89%, categorized as very engaging. Based on these results, it can be concluded that interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline with the Joyful Learning approach is valid and interesting to use in learning and is able to increase students' understanding, interest, and involvement in the Pancasila Education learning process.
