UPAYA PT SEMEN INDONESIA (PERSERO) Tbk PABRIK TUBAN DALAM MEMBERDAYAKAN EKONOMI MASYARAKAT MELALUI PROGRAM ECOPARK KAMBANGSEMI

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a corporate commitment to supporting sustainable development through community economic empowerment in areas surrounding company operations. PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Tuban Plant implements a community empowerment–based CSR initiative through the Ecopark Kambangsemi Program, which is developed through various economic business clusters. This study aims to analyze the process of community economic empowerment as well as the impacts of the Ecopark Kambangsemi Program on the communities involved in managing the program. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with the research location purposively selected in the Ecopark Kambangsemi area. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with informants selected using purposive sampling, including CSR representatives of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or the Ecopark Kambangsemi Coordinator, as well as Ecopark managers or cluster leaders. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model, while data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The results indicate that the Ecopark Kambangsemi Program plays a significant role in community economic empowerment through the stages of enabling, empowering, and protecting. The program encourages capacity building, the formation of business clusters, and active community participation, which contribute to improvements in skills, income, and community economic self-reliance.
