Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work culture and work discipline on employee performance at the Regional Coordination Agency of Malang (BAKORWIL III Malang). The research background is based on the existence of work completion delays and suboptimal performance targets, which are assumed to be related to the implementation of work culture and the level of employee discipline. This study applies a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The population consists of 60 employees, all of whom are used as the sample through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Instrument testing was conducted through validity and reliability tests, followed by classical assumption tests prior to regression analysis. The expected results indicate that work culture and work discipline have a significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously, and identify the most dominant variable influencing performance. The findings are expected to provide practical contributions for institutions in improving employee performance through strengthening work culture and effective discipline practices.
