Abstract
Background: Schizophrenia is a chronic mental disorder that affects 450 million people worldwide. 70% of Indonesia's population suffers from paranoid schizophrenia with impaired auditory hallucinations.
Research method: the research method used in this study is using case studies in accordance with the nursing care process which consists of assessment, data analysis, nursing intervention, nursing implementation and evaluation.
Results: From the results of data analysis, 6 nursing problems emerged, namely auditory sensory perception disorders (auditory hallucinations), anxiety, self-care deficits, low self-esteem, risk of violent behavior, and ineffective coping. Of the 6 problems, the authors took 2 main nursing diagnoses, namely auditory sensory perception disorder (auditory hallucinations) and anxiety.
Conclusion: from the application of SPTK auditory hallucinations and added dhikr modality therapy in patients with auditory hallucinations, patients are able to control their hallucinations and patients are also able to reduce anxiety by implementing guided imagery therapy.
