Abstract
Abstract
Communication and work discipline are fundamental factors that influence employee performance in an organization. The phenomenon at LPP Radio Republik Indonesia Malang Station shows that there are ineffective internal communication problems such as uneven information and suboptimal coordination between departments, as well as work discipline constraints such as delays and inconsistencies in task completion. This study aims to analyze the influence of communication and work discipline on employee performance at LPP RRI Malang Station. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a population of all employees totaling 78 people who were sampled through a saturated sampling technique. Data collection uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis includes validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and t-tests. The results of the study indicate that communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a calculated t value of 3.557 > t table 1.992 and a significance of 0.001. Work discipline also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a calculated t value of 4.756 > t table 1.992 and a significance of 0.001. Effective communication improves work understanding and coordination, while strong work discipline encourages responsibility and timely task completion. This research contributes to the development of human resource management and provides practical input for RRI management in formulating performance improvement strategies through strengthened communication and enforcement of work discipline.
