Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style on employee performance and to examine the role of work diversity as a moderating variable at the Malang City PMPTSP Manpower Office. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all 70 employees of the Malang City PMPTSP Manpower Office, with a sampling technique using purposive sampling so that the number of samples in the study was 52 respondents. The data analysis technique used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the help of the SmartPLS application through testing the outer model and inner model. The results of the study indicate that transformational leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance and work diversity has no effect on employee performance and work diversity is proven to be able to moderate the relationship between transformational leadership style and employee performance, so that the better the management of diversity in the work environment, the stronger the influence of transformational leadership in improving employee performance.
