Abstract
This study aims to determine the use of Wordwall media and its effectiveness in improving Arabic vocabulary mastery of grade VIII students at MTsS Nurul Jihad Lalibo, Central Buton Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The method used in this study was a pre-experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis techniques included normality tests, t-test, and effectiveness tests (N-Gain). The subjects of this study were 19 grade VIII students of MTsS Nurul Jihad Lalibo. The research instrument used was a multiple-choice test to measure students’ Arabic vocabulary mastery before and after the treatment. The results showed that the average pretest score was 56.11 and increased to 75.79 in the posttest. The results of the T-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so Ha was accepted. Furthermore, the N-Gain test result was 47.31, which falls between 30 ≤ N-Gain ≤ 70 and is categorized as moderate. Thus, the use of Wordwall media is effective in improving students’ Arabic vocabulary mastery.
