Abstract
PT XYZ is a coffee roasting company that possesses a Quality Assurance (QA) division responsible for maintaining product quality consistency. One of the main activities of the QA division is conducting coffee validation exams to evaluate the sensory sharpness of employees. Currently, the process of creating validation exam questions is still done manually using Microsoft Excel. This process is considered inefficient as it consumes a significant amount of time, involves high complexity in generating unique random codes, and is prone to human errors such as data duplication. This study aims to build a website-based coffee validation exam question generation system capable of producing questions quickly, accurately, and effectively. The software development method used in this research is the Prototype method. This method was chosen because it allows for direct interaction and rapid feedback between the developer and the user during the system design process. The system implementation is built using the TypeScript programming language, NextJS framework, and SQLite database. Software quality testing was conducted in two stages: functionality testing and user acceptance testing. Functional testing using Black Box Testing with the Equivalence Partitioning technique resulted in a 100% success rate, indicating that all features function as intended. Furthermore, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) yielded a score of 100% in the "Very Good" category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the system was successfully built according to user needs.
