Abstract

The development of educational technology has encouraged the use of digital media to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools. One such medium is the Smart Board, which makes learning more visual, interactive, and engaging. SD Negeri Mulyoagung 01 Dau has utilized Smart Boards; however, their use has not been fully optimized and therefore needs to be examined.
This study aims to describe the implementation of Smart Boards, identify the responses of teachers and students, and determine the factors influencing their use. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The subjects include the principal, fourth-grade teacher, and fourth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model with triangulation techniques.
The results show that Smart Boards are used to present visual materials, learning videos, interactive quizzes, and student presentations, making learning more engaging and participatory. Teachers and most students responded positively as it increases learning interest. However, there are still obstacles such as limited devices, unstable internet connections, and inadequate electricity
supply. Overall, Smart Boards contribute to more interactive learning, but improvements in facilities and teacher competence are still needed for optimal use.
