Abstract

Education is one of the important foundations in growing and improving their quality abilities and ability to compete. Initial observations and interviews conducted in September 2025 obtained results, namely the use of learning media. Grade 2 students have difficulty in understanding learning materials due to the lack of use of learning media in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to develop Flipbook learning media based on Bookish Play local wisdom in Indonesian language in grade 2 elementary school.
This research uses Research and Development (RnD) research and development methods. This method consists of 5 stages, namely ADDIE, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. This research was applied to 2nd grade students of UPTD SDN Dharma Tanjung 1 by using Indonesian language subjects with hobby material that became achievements. This study uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. In this qualitative data analysis, it was obtained from the results of interviews, observations, suggestions and comments from validators, media experts and material experts. Quantitative data analysis was obtained from media expert validation, material expert validation, teacher response questionnaire and 2nd grade student response questionnaire. The data obtained was used to test the validity, feasibility, and attractiveness of Bookish Play-based Flipbook media of local wisdom in Indonesian for 2nd grade students of UPTD SDN Dharma Tanjung 1.
The results of this study show that the Bookish Play-based Flipbook media of local wisdom reviewed from the results of the validation questionnaire of material experts obtained a percentage of 82%. Meanwhile, the validation of media experts obtained a percentage of 91%. From the results of the validation, it was qualified that the material was suitable and the media was valid to be used in the 2nd grade Indonesian language learning activity in the hobby material that became an achievement. The conclusion of the questionnaire results shows that the development of Bookish Play-based Flipbook media, local wisdom in Indonesian, hobby materials that become achievements are declared feasible and very interesting to be used in the learning process and achieve learning goals.
