ANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHA DAN PEMASARAN PRODUK AYAM PETELUR DENGAN SISTEM OPEN HOUSE DI PETERNAKAN SUMBERJO FARM KECAMATAN AMBULU KABUPATEN JEMBER

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of egg-laying chicken farming with an open house system, calculate income, and analyze the marketing flow of egg products. The study uses a quantitative method with income analysis and a descriptive approach. The research location is in Wuluhan Subdistrict, Jember Regency, with the research object being 10,000 Lohman strain laying chickens. The results of the study show that the total production cost is Rp.472,026,667 with a total income of Rp.1,160,536,715. The R/C ratio value of 3.46 (>1) indicates that the business is feasible to run. The production BEP value is Rp.19,212.57/Kg and the price is Rp. 7,146.03/Kg. Sumberjo Farm has three supply chain flows, namely the product flow, financial flow, and information flow. The product flow produces 500 kg which is distributed to collectors and retailers, who then distribute it to consumers. The financial flow is managed through a cash payment or bank transfer system. The information flow, which includes prices, quality, quantity, and consumer complaints, occurs interactively, ensuring product quality is maintained. Overall, this farming business is economically feasible and has an effective supply chain system.
