Abstract
This research aims to analyze the influence of gadget usage on the emotional development of elementary school-aged children from the perspective of Hifz Al-nasl.Uncontrolledgadged use has negative impacts on children’s emotions, including emotional instability, decreased learnimg motivation, and reduced socialization abilities.
The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach at SD Kejar Daqu, Pandaan district, Pasuruan.Data was collected through observation, open questionnaires to 45 parents of grades 4-6 students, and documentation. Research findings indicate that excessive gadget use causes unstable emotional reactions in children, especially when gadget access is limited.
From the Hifz Al-nasl perspective, the concept of offspring protection requires parents and educators to control children’s digital technology usage. This research recommends limiting gadget usage time, supervising content, and strengthening the role of families and schools in providing guidance based on Islamic values to maintain children’s emotionals health in the digital era.
