Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine compensation, work motivation and employee performance, the effect of compensation on employee performance, the effect of motivation on employee performance and the effect of compensation and motivation together on employee performance. The type of research used is quantitative research, with a population of all Kapal Garden Hotel employees and a sample of 35 respondents. The research data source is a primary source, with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data analysis method uses a scale range and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the scale range analysis, compensation is included in the sufficient category, work motivation is high and employee performance is sufficient. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that compensation has a significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance and compensation and work motivation have a significant effect on employee performance, meaning that with changes or increases in compensation and work motivation, the performance of Kapal Garden Hotel employees will increase.
