Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of employee engagement on job satisfaction with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as an intervening variable at PT Jamkrindo Banjarmasin. Employee engagement encompasses enthusiasm, dedication, and unity, while OCB describes voluntary behavior outside formal duties, such as altruism, conscientiousness, civic virtue, sportsmanship, and courtesy. Job satisfaction encompasses satisfaction with salary, supervision, promotion, and working conditions. The research method used
is explanatory research with a population and sample of 53 employees, as well as path analysis techniques. The results show that employee engagement does not have a significant direct effect on job satisfaction, but has a significant positive effect on OCB. Furthermore, the results of the Sobel test show that OCB has a significant effect on job satisfaction and is proven to mediate the relationship between employee engagement and job satisfaction. This finding confirms the
importance of OCB in strengthening the influence of employee engagement on job satisfaction.
