Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived risk, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use on the intention to use crypto airdrop on Telegram, with attitude toward use as a mediating variable. The phenomenon of crypto airdrop has become increasingly popular along with the development of blockchain technology. However, there is still limited research intregrating perceived risk into the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in this context. This study used a quantitative approach with an exploratory research method. Data were collected through an online questionnaire from some respondents, students in Malang City who were interested in digital assets and potentially participating in a crypto airdrop on Telegram. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with specific criteria. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0 software. This study contributes to the literature on decentralized financial technology adoption and offers practical implications for crypto project developers and Telegram community managers in designing effective airdrop strategies.
