Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Social Return on Investment (SROI) of the Perahu Peduli Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program implemented by PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) in empowering the economy of poor fishermen. The background of this study is based on the importance of evaluating the social and economic impact of productive CSR programs in the small-scale fisheries sector. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with impact measurement using the SROI approach. Data was obtained through interviews with beneficiary fishermen, Bank Jatim, and the Inisiatif Zakat Indonesia (IZI), as well as supporting documentation. The results of the study show that the Perahu Peduli CSR Program has a positive impact in the form of increased fishermen's income, reduced operational costs, increased family savings, increased fishermen's group cash flow, and improved quality of worship and religious knowledge. Based on SROI calculations over two years, an SROI value of 3.47 was obtained, meaning that every Rp1.00 invested generated social and economic benefits of Rp3.47. This program is considered effective in improving the welfare of underprivileged fishermen.
