Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program of the Muamalat Undergraduate Scholarship and to evaluate its impact on economic, social, and governance sustainability. The findings indicate that the performance of the Undergraduate Scholarship Program falls into the category of not yet effective in supporting sustainability. The program’s ineffectiveness is primarily attributed to the decline in CSR funding allocation, which has directly resulted in a decrease in the number of beneficiaries, indicating funding capacity constraints and the suboptimal continuity of the program. Furthermore, in terms of performance accountability, the program has not implemented long-term impact measurement tools such as Social Return on Investment (SROI), limiting a comprehensive evaluation of its strategic contribution to economic and social sustainability. Regarding stakeholder engagement, the involvement of external stakeholders, such as beneficiaries’ guardians, remains concentrated at the implementation and evaluation stages, but is still weak in the strategic planning phase, reflecting limited collaborative participation in program design. The program’s impacts are evident across economic, social, and governance dimensions.
