Abstract

This study aims to develop Augmented Reality media based on Assemblr Edu software to improve scientific literacy skills in the "Exploring Cells" material at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. This study uses the R&D research and development method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product was developed in the form of an AR card containing a QR code that can be accessed using a smartphone to display learning content in the form of 3D images and videos. Validation results showed that the media was considered very feasible by material experts with a score of 84%, linguists with a score of 97%, and media experts with a score of 86%. The practicality test showed that it was quite practical with a percentage of 74.8% for students and 96% for teachers, indicating a very practical category. The effectiveness test showed an average NGain value of 0.561 in the moderate category, indicating an increase in student learning outcomes after using the media. The results of this study conclude that AR-based interactive learning media with Assemblr Edu software is declared feasible, practical, and effective for use in Biology learning on the "Exploring Cells" material.
