Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the mediating role of job satisfaction in the influence of training and work discipline on employee performance at CV Putra Sidomulyo. This research uses a quantitative explanatory approach. The data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to all employees through a total sampling technique. The analysis technique employed is Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results of the study show that training has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. Work discipline also has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The findings also reveal that job satisfaction is able to mediate the effect of training and work discipline on employee performance. These results indicate that structured training and consistent discipline are essential in improving employee performance through the enhancement of job satisfaction.
