ANALISIS EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN GREEN BANKING SEBAGAI STRATEGI KEBERLANJUTAN PADA PERBANKAN SYARIAH DALAM MENDUKUNG PENCAPAIAN SDGs (Studi Kasus PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tower, Jakarta)

Green banking integrates environmental sustainability principles into operations and financing for sustainable development. This study analyzes the effectiveness of green banking implementation as a sustainability strategy in Islamic banking to support the SDGs, with a case study of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk. The study uses a descriptive
qualitative approach through interviews and documentation of sustainability reports and operational policies. Data were analyzed using triangulation to ensure validity. The results show that green banking at Bank Muamalat is well implemented in energy efficiency, water conservation, administrative digitalization, and waste management. However, strategic indicators such as green rewards and green investment are not yet integrated into long- term policies. This study contributes to understanding green banking implementation in Islamic banking to support the SDGs.
