PERUBAHAN POLA BELANJA DI KALANGAN MAHASISWA (Studi pada Mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang)

This study is entitled "Changes in Shopping Patterns Among Students (A Study on Students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang). This study aims to determine changes in shopping patterns among students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The research method is qualitative with a case study type of research. The technique for determining research subjects uses purposive sampling. Data collection techniques are obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, interviews. The theory used for analysis in this study is the Theory of Consumer Behavior initiated by Jean Baudrillard. The results of this study are that increasingly sophisticated internet use encourages students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang to adjust their activities and lifestyles to maintain social existence amidst environmental changes. Changes in student shopping patterns from physical stores to e-commerce platforms such as Shopee have become a major trend, driven by advances in digital technology and busy lifestyles. Key factors such as convenience of anytime access, time efficiency, wide product variety, competitive prices with discounts, access to international products, and user reviews facilitate this transition.
