Abstract
This study aims to determine the implementation of the digital village system (SIDEDI) program in Oro-Oro Ombo Village and to identify the inhibiting factors faced by Oro-Oro Ombo Village in implementing the digital village system (SIDEDI). This study employed qualitative research. Primary data sources were interviews and secondary data from journals and other supporting documents. The study took place in Oro-Oro Ombo Village, Batu District, Batu City. The research subjects were the Oro-Oro Ombo Village Head, the Oro-Oro Ombo Village Secretary, and the Head of the Welfare Section. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis included data collection, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that Oro-Oro Ombo Village has implemented digitalization of public services through SIDEDI. However, this digitalization has been deemed ineffective in providing public services due to several factors, such as inadequate human resources and inadequate outreach and training for the community. Annual evaluation is necessary for this issue.
