Abstract

The demands of 21st century education require the integration of technology and innovative learning models in learning. This research aims to develop a learning e-module based on the OIDDE (Orientation, Identify, Discussion, Decision and Engage in Behavior) learning model on living creature classification material in class VII Muhammadiyah Junior High School 08 Batu City that is valid and practical. The development model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection techniques include material, media and language expert validation sheets, as well as practicality questionnaires by educators and students. The e-module was validated by six expert validators and tested on 26 class VII students at Muhammadiyah Junior High School 08 Batu City. The validation results show a mean score of 91.5% (very valid) for the material aspect, 95.8% (very valid) for the media aspect, and 100% (very valid) for the linguistic aspect. The practicality test results obtained a score of 95% (very practical) from educators and 90.2% (very practical) from students. Based on these results, the e-module based on the OIDDE learning model was declared very valid and very practical to be used as an alternative teaching material in science learning. It is recommended that e-module dissemination be developed further by adding features and expanding the scope of material.
