Abstract
Education and health are two interrelated aspects in shaping the quality of human resources from elementary school age onwards. Schools play a strategic role in instilling clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) through continuous habituation. SDN Ngaglik 01 Batu has developed an innovation to strengthen School Health Efforts (UKS) based on eight PHBS indicators, which has been implemented since 2005 and has become a flagship program, thus requiring indepth study of its implementation. This study aims to describe the implementation of the TIWISADA Program in shaping clean and healthy living behaviors among students at SDN Ngaglik 01 Batu. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The research subjects include the principal, first and sixth grade teachers, and first and sixth grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Data validity was tested through source and technique triangulation. The results of the study show that the TIWISADA Program is implemented in a structured manner through the Trias UKS components, namely Health Education, health services, and fostering a healthy school environment. The program is realized through health socialization, UKS duty, personal hygiene checks, hand washing habits, consumption of healthy snacks, use of clean toilets, regular exercise, prohibition of smoking in the school environment, weight and height measurements, waste management, and mosquito larvae eradication. The implementation of the program is supported by the active role of teachers, student involvement, and the availability of supporting facilities, thereby contributing positively to the formation of healthy lifestyle habits among students.
