Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work–life balance and job satisfaction on employee retention at PT Alfath Corporation Indonesia. The study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The research population consists of all employees of PT Alfath Corporation Indonesia, totaling 50 individuals. A saturated sampling technique was applied, in which the entire population was used as the research sample. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and were analyzed using scale range analysis and Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that work–life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, and simultaneously, work–life balance and job satisfaction have a significant effect on employee retention. These findings suggest that the better the balance between work and personal life and the higher the level of job satisfaction perceived by employees, the greater their tendency to remain with the company.
