The Pancasila board is a visual learning tool used to help students concretely
understand the meaning and values of the Pancasila precepts. The use of the
Pancasila board in Pancasila education can help develop positive attitudes in
students. This study aims to: (1) Describe the implementation of the Pancasila board
media on the Pancasila precepts material in class III of Tegalgondo Elementary
School, (2) Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of
the Pancasila board media in learning the Pancasila precepts in class III of
Tegalgondo Elementary School, (3) Know the solutions taken by teachers in
overcoming obstacles during the implementation of the Pancasila board media in
learning the Pancasila precepts in class III of Tegalgondo Elementary School.
This study uses a qualitative approach to implement the Pancasila board
media for class III students of Tegalgondo Elementary School as the approach used.
A qualitative approach is a study that describes the facts of the event being studied
with the aim of obtaining objective data. Qualitative research in this study presents
the results in the form of in-depth descriptions of words or sentences to describe a
situation being studied. Data were collected through observation, interviews,
documentation, field notes and analyzed using the stages of collection, reduction,
presentation, and drawing conclusions (Miles & Hubberman). Data validity was
ensured through triangulation of sources, techniques, and time, while research
procedures included planning, implementation, and report writing.
The results of the study indicate that (1) the implementation of the Pancasila
board media can help students understand the meaning of the Pancasila principles.
The use of the Pancasila board media was implemented through the stages of
Learning Planning, Learning Implementation, and Learning Evaluation. (2)
Supporting factors for the implementation of the Pancasila board media include
teacher readiness in designing learning, the characteristics of elementary school
students, and the availability of engaging learning media. Inhibiting factors include
limited learning time and differences in student abilities in understanding the
material. (3) Solutions implemented to overcome these obstacles include managing
learning time, classroom management, and providing motivation.
