Abstract
The foundation structure planning in this study takes the case of the Auditorium building construction project of Brawijaya University Malang, by changing the existing foundation planning from bore pile to pile foundation. The foundation must be designed to meet the requirements of bearing capacity and controlled settlement, so as not to exceed the specified allowable limit. The calculation of bearing capacity and foundation settlement is based on data from the Standard Penetration Test (SPT). The analysis results from the Staadpro v8i and Etabs programs show that the total force on the ground floor due to vertical loads is 30013.33 kN. The results of the loading analysis on the upper structure of the Brawijaya University Auditorium Building show that the maximum load occurs at the Pu reaction of 5096.765 kN, with the largest bearing capacity occurring in the spun pile foundation planning with a depth of 20 meters and a foundation diameter of 0.8 meters.
