Abstract

Quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica) is one of the poultry commodities with high economic potential due to its short production cycle and small land requirements. This study aimed to analyze the feasibility of quail farming business in Sumberejo Wetan Village, Ngunut District, Tulungagung Regency. The research was conducted
from September to October 2025 using a quantitative descriptive method with a case study approach on a farm with a population of 15,000 birds. The analyzed data included business capital, production costs, revenue, income, and financial feasibility indicators. The results showed that the total business capital was IDR 1.037.250.000 with production costs of IDR 991.350.000 per year. Revenue from egg sales reached IDR 1.239.300.000 per year with a net income of IDR 247.950.000 per year. Feasibility analysis showed ROI value of 25.01%, R/C Ratio of 1.25, production BEP of 3,239 kg per month, price BEP of IDR 20,398 per kg, and Payback Period of 4.20 years. Based on all financial feasibility indicators, the
quail farming business at the research location is feasible and profitable to operate.
