Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of TikTok social media usage on self-disclosure skills in androgynous students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, class of 2025. The method used is a quantitative approach with a questionnaire instrument that has been proven valid and reliable (Cronbach's Alpha variable X = 0.765; variable Y = 0.822). The Shapiro Wilk normality test showed that the data were normally distributed. The results of the regression analysis showed that the intensity of TikTok usage had a positive and significant effect on self-disclosure, with an F value of 19.031 and Sig. = 0.002 and a regression coefficient of 1.059. This means that the higher the use of TikTok, the greater the tendency of students to disclose themselves through digital content and interactions. These findings indicate that androgynous students use TikTok as a safe space to express their identity and emotions, as well as a medium for self-development in the digital environment. This study emphasizes the importance of healthy digital literacy so that self-disclosure remains within safe limits.
