IMPLEMENTASI TEKNOLOGI DIGITAL BERBASIS MEDIA SOSIAL INSTAGRAM DAN WEBSITE SIDAKPOL PP DALAM PENINGKATAN OPERASIONAL KINERJA SATUAN POLISI PAMONG PRAJA (STUDI PADA KANTOR SATPOL PP KOTA MALANG)

This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital technology based on social media and websites in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the operational performance of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of Malang City. The background of this research is based on the necessity for Satpol PP to adapt to the development of information technology in order to accelerate public services, enhance transparency, and strengthen communication with the community. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving officials and employees of Satpol PP Malang City who are directly involved in managing digital systems such as Sidakpol PP, Lapor.co.id, Sambat Online, Digital Letter System (Suradi), and the social media account Instagram Trantibum Malangkota. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.
The results of the study indicate that the implementation of digital technology has brought a significant impact on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of Satpol PP’s operational performance. The utilization of websites and social media has simplified the community reporting process, accelerated information dissemination, and increased responsiveness to public complaints. Furthermore, the implementation of the Suradi system has proven to reduce time and administrative costs, thereby enhancing work efficiency and supporting more transparent and accountable public services. Nevertheless, several challenges were identified, including limited human resources in mastering technology, lack of technical training, and the suboptimal integration among digital platforms. Based on these findings, it is recommended that Satpol PP Malang City strengthen its digital capacity through continuous training programs and develop an integrated digital system to ensure the sustainability of digital innovation in maintaining public order and community tranquility.
