FOTOGRAFI DOKUMENTASI: Toleransi dalam Semboyan Torang Samua Basudara Masyarakat Manado

This research aims to document and describe tolerance in the motto "Torang Samua Basudara" in the North Sulawesi community through documantary photography. The background shows that photography plays an important role in documenting venets and conveying visual message amidst the high ethnic and religious diversity of North Sulawesi.
The research method included photographing during the Christmas 2023 and Eid al-Fitr 2024 holidays. Pre-visualization planned 62 selected photos from 380 photos, including angles and format. Curation and editing used Adobe Lightroom for lights settings, while photo narratives ware made concise with the help of Dr. Dra. Frida Kusumastuti, M.Si. The photobook measures 20x20 cm, 200 gsm Art paper, local hard cover, printed at PT. Literindo Editorial Malang.
The results of the study revealed that "Torang Samua Basudara" reflects the harmonious culture of the Manado community amidst diversity. The photobook captures of differences living peacefully. This work is expected to be a visual education medium about the importance of tolerance
