HAMBATAN KOMUNIKASI YANG DIALAMI MAHASISWA ASING (Studi Deskriptif Mahasiswa Asing Di Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang)

University of Muhammadiyah Malang is an important example for understanding the development of intercultural communication in higher education. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with foreign students from various countries, participatory observation, and documentation. The results of this study show that foreign students face various communication barriers, including language differences, norms, and a lack of understanding in verbal and non-verbal expressions. However, the many barriers experienced by foreign students do not significantly hinder the adaptation process.
