Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of work life balance on employee retention, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable, in the florist industry in Bali. This study uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study consisted of 75 florist employees from eight florists in Bali, using the total sampling technique. Data were collected using physical questionnaires (hard copies). The data analysis methods used were scale range and the Structural Equation Modeling, Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS 4.1.1.6 software. The research results indicate that work life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, work life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, and job satisfaction is proven to mediate the relationship between work life balance and employee retention.
