Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efficiency of implementing the Reorder Point (ROP) method in supporting the procurement process of the Purchasing Division at PT Indotama Seraya Artha, as well as to identify factors that influence its implementation. Data collection was carried out through interviews, direct observation, and documentation to obtain revelant and in-depth information related to inventory management conditions, as well as using Fishbone Diagram analysis. The sources in this stdy consisted of the Purchasing Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, and Warehouse administrator as parties directly involved in the procurement and inventory control processes. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Reorder Point (ROP) method used by the company has not been running efficiently because it does not include Safety Stock calculations, there is no periodic evaluation system, and there are still differences between physical stock dan system stock. The Reorder Point (ROP) calculation recommended in this study concludes that the development of the Reorder Point (ROP) calculation by including Safety Stock can improve its efficiency in supporting the procurement process
