Abstract
Sheep farming plays an important role in supporting rural household income in
Sumber Jati Village, Kademangan District, Blitar Regency. However, farmers’ income varies
widely due to differences in resource ownership, production capacity, and farmer
characteristics. This study aims to analyze the factors that significantly influenc e the income
of sheep farmers, focusing on number of livestock, farming experience, education level, and

The regression model is statistically significant (F = 13.896; Sig. = 0.000), indicating that all predictorthat all predictors collectively influence farmers’ income. Partially, production cost has the s collectively influence farmers’ income. Partially, production cost has the strongest positive and significant effect on income (β = 0.976; Sig. = 0.000). Number of strongest positive and significant effect on income (β = 0.976; Sig. = 0.000). Number of livestock also has a significant negative effect (Sig. = 0.000), suggesting decreasing retlivestock also has a significant negative effect (Sig. = 0.000), suggesting decreasing returns or urns or management constraints. Farming experience significantly affects income (Sig. = 0.003). management constraints. Farming experience significantly affects income (Sig. = 0.003). Meanwhile, education level has no significant effect on income (Sig. = 0.476).Meanwhile, education level has no significant effect on income (Sig. = 0.476). Income of sheep Income of sheep farmers is primarily influenced by production cost, number of livfarmers is primarily influenced by production cost, number of livestock, and farming estock, and farming experience. Increasing production efficiency, optimizing herd size, and enhancing farmers’ experience. Increasing production efficiency, optimizing herd size, and enhancing farmers’ practical skills are key strategies to improve income levels.practical skills are key strategies to improve income levels.
