Abstract

This study aims to determine and examine the effect of work-life balance on employee retention mediated by job satisfaction variables among frontline employees at Bank BNI in the Malang region. This study uses explanatory research and a quantitative approach. It uses data from a questionnaire completed by a sample of 40 employees. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 40 respondents. The analysis methods used in this study were scale range and PLS analysis with SEMPLS 4.1 software. This study shows that work-life balance has a significant effect on employee retention. Work-life balance has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee retention. And job satisfaction mediates the effect of work-life balance on retention among frontline employees at Bank BNI Malang Region 18.
