Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of employee well-being and work motivation on employee productivity at the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Tapin Regency. The research is motivated by indications of declining productivity, as reflected in the failure to achieve daily work targets, decreased enthusiasm for work, and the emergence of boredom in carrying out duties. Employee well-being and work motivation are considered two crucial internal factors that drive the improvement of employee performance. This research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method as the data collection technique. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 40 respondents, all of whom are employees of Bapenda Tapin Regency. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS version 25, applying validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and significance tests conducted both simultaneously and partially. The results show that employee well-being has a positive and significant effect on work productivity, as does work motivation, which also has a positive and significant impact. Simultaneously, these two variables are proven to make a substantial contribution to improving employee productivity. The findings highlight the importance of enhancing employee well-being and motivation as part of human resource development strategies to achieve optimal performance in the public sector.
