PERAN DAN FUNGSI KOMUNITAS ANGGREK MAYA DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KESEJAHTERAAN SOSIAL PEKERJA RUMAH TANGGA DI KABUPATEN MALANG

This research aims to identify and analyze the roles and functions as well as describe the contributions of the Anggrek Maya Community in improving the social welfare of domestic workers in Malang Regency. The study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques consisting of structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results show that the Anggrek Maya Community acts as a facilitator through skills training and as a motivator in fostering solidarity among its members. The community functions as a platform for social interaction, knowledge sharing, business development, recreation, and mindset transformation. Its contributions are reflected in improved work skills, a sense of security, and better quality of life among members. In conclusion, the community plays a significant role in empowering and enhancing the social welfare of domestic workers.
