Abstract
This study aims to describe the rationale for using the collaborative learning model and
its implementation in Islamic studies at MBS Al-Amin Bojonegoro High School. This
study employed a qualitative approach with a case study approach. Data collection
techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with the
principal, teachers, and students as informants. Data analysis employed the theories of
Mils, Habbermand, and Saldana, namely data reduction, data testing, and conclusions.
Data validity was checked using triangulation techniques to gain a comprehensive
understanding of the implementation of the collaborative learning model. The results
indicate that the collaborative learning model was implemented at MBS Al-Amin
Bojonegoro because it aligns with the school's vision and character, which integrates
religious and general education. The implementation of the collaborative learning
model was carried out systematically, starting with the development of teaching
modules and teacher training, as well as classroom instruction.
