Abstract
Generation Z women are increasingly entering the workforce with characteristics that differ from previous generations. They tend to place greater emphasis on career development opportunities, flexibility, and the balance between work and personal life. These changing values and expectations create a new dynamic in the
modern workplace, where job satisfaction is no longer measured solely by financial compensation, but also by psychological well-being and opportunities for growth. This condition encourages the need to understand the factors influencing the job satisfaction of female employees in Malang City. This study employed a quantitative
approach with a survey method. The sample consisted of 98 female employees from various industrial sectors in Malang City, selected through proportional sampling techniques. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the effects of career development and work-life balance on job satisfaction. The results
showed that both career development and work-life balance have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. These findings highlight the importance of organizational strategies that support career growth and work-life balance to enhance the job satisfaction of Generation Z women.
