PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM PADAT KARYA TUNAI DESA (PKTD) OLEH PEMERINTAH DESA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEREKONOMIAN PETANI DI DESA GONGGANG MAGETAN

ABTRACT
Programs designed by the government aim to increase people's economic opportunities, with examples such as improving infrastructure, or overcoming various social and economic challenges. However, in reality, not all of these programs can run smoothly and achieve the expected results. One of the main causes is the lack of support from the community. This support is not only in the form of active participation, but also includes acceptance, trust, and community involvement in the program implementation process
This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, which aims to gain a deep understanding of social and economic phenomena at the local level. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, case studies, and content analysis, with a focus on participants' subjective narratives and interpretations. One of the programs implemented in Gonggang Village is the Village Cash Intensive Program (PKTD), which aims to support village development and improve the economic level of the community, especially through activities related to the agricultural sector. Funds of IDR 25,000,000 are allocated annually for activities such as the construction of irrigation canals and agricultural roads.
This program provides benefits in the form of temporary employment as well as increased access and productivity of agricultural land. However, because its implementation is unsustainable and only carried out once a year, the long- term impact on improving farmers' welfare is still limited and has not been able to create significant economic changes
