Abstract
This study aims to reveal the strategies implemented by the Regional Leadership of Aisyiyah in Malang City in implementing the Progressive Women's Message to improve women's welfare. The focus of this study is to understand the approach used in recruiting cadres and providing education and understanding to women so that they can gain awareness and skills that contribute to their welfare. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research involving six respondents as data sources. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation to obtain accurate and in-depth information regarding the strategies implemented by the Regional Leadership of Aisyiyah in Malang City. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively to describe the patterns, strategies, and impacts of the implementation of the Progressive Women's Message on women's welfare in Malang City. The results of the study indicate that the Regional Leadership of Aisyiyah in Malang City has an effective strategy in implementing the Progressive Women's Message, especially through its commitment to recruiting cadres and providing comprehensive education to women. This education covers various aspects, including increasing insight, skills, and understanding of women's rights, so that it is expected to improve their welfare. In addition, this study found that after the programs organized by the Aisyiyah Regional Leadership of Malang City were running, there was a significant change in women's welfare. Previously, many women still had limitations in terms of understanding and competence. However, after participating in various education and training programs, they became more insightful, had better skills, and were able to improve their standard of living. However, there are still challenges that need to be overcome, such as expanding da'wah to the general public and increasing collaboration with the government and private sectors to strengthen women's welfare. This study recommends that the Aisyiyah Regional Leadership of Malang City continue to develop da'wah strategies, expand synergies, and increase the scope of the program so that the benefits of the Progressive Women's Treatise are felt more widely by the community.
