Abstract
His study aims to analyze the effect of Physical Work Environment and Compensation on Employee Job Satisfaction at CV Nugroho Berkah Feed. The research stems from a company phenomenon in which frequent machine breakdowns disrupted production processes, leading to reduced target-based compensation and consequently, employee dissatisfaction. This research employed a quantitative survey approach using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to examine the relationships among variables. The study involved 51 respondents, consisting of production employees. The results indicate that the Physical Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, while Compensation also shows a positive and significant effect and is identified as the most dominant factor influencing Job Satisfaction. The R² value of 0.656 signifies that 65.6% of job satisfaction variation is explained by the two independent variables, and the Goodness of Fit (GoF) value of 0.656 demonstrates a strong model fit. Therefore, it is recommended that the company enhance a fair and transparent compensation system while improving the physical work environment to increase employee job satisfaction.
